What is going on? Practical workshop of prototyping.
Prototyping is one of the most important tools of design thinking. Prototype saves a lot of time and money and helps to discover usability flaws in the service or product being designed.
During the workshop we will talk about the definition of prototyping, its role in the design process and why its important. We will look closely different prototypes (low, mid, high fidelity) and when to use what kind. We will introduce most popular prototyping tools and softwares. In addition to that we will go through the process of making a prototype and validating it. Workshop is also filled with several real life examples.
All the participants can try prototyping on different mediums – paper, interactive whiteboards etc. At the end of the workshop we will have – surprise, surprise – prototypes, that we will test on other workshop participants to validate the it on users.
